Local attorney Jim Harris told the Blytheville Police and Fire Committee Thursday the city is in default on a pending lawsuit, filed by former Blytheville police officer Jason Wolfenbarger. He said the city's answer was due on Aug. 28. Wolfenbarger and former officer Earnest Frye have filed lawsuits, after both were terminated for allegedly failing to comply with the city's employee residency policy.
