May 22, 2010, the Armorel Lady Tigers won the 2010 1A State Championship with a 9-5 win over Viola at Bogle Park in Fayetteville. Tournament MVP, Holly Black, pitched a complete game and went 3-4 at the plate with 2 RBIs. The Lady Tigers finished the year with a 25-6 record.
