Janice Currie of Osceola has announced her candidacy for county clerk of Mississippi County.

Currie said, "I have had the pleasure of working with two very knowledgeable county clerks (Jo Ann Morgan and Lib Shippen) and interim county clerk (Eupha Sacrider) who have taught me a great deal.
