Blytheville Police responded Tuesday morning to a call from a local day care center which had been shot at during the overnight hours.
According to the police report, Moore's Daycare Academy, located on East Ash, received damage to a wall and door, and officers located a bullet lodged in the wall of the center's laundry room. An employee also recovered a bullet "on the floor next to the laundry room." All damage was done to the outside of the business.
There are no known offenders in the incident. Business owner Annette Moore said the center has no windows through which any damage by stray bullets could be done to the indoors, and added that no children were on the premises when the incident occurred.
