Born at Blytheville, he was a lifelong area resident and a 2011 graduate of Manila High School. Brian excelled in all sports, but his passion was football. He wore the No. 3 jersey for the football Lions, playing running back, wide receiver, punt returner and kick returner. Brian was currently a sophomore at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville.
Survivors include his parents, father, Brian Keith Borden Sr. of Keiser; and mother and step-father, Mary and John Sipes of Manila;
His grandparents, Paul G. Borden of Etowah, and Amos and Debbie Lancaster of Manila;
One brother, Keith Wesley "Peewee" Arzo Sipes of Manila; and
Three sisters, Addison Nicole Borden, Alexis Marie Borden and Holly LeAnn Borden, all of Keiser.
Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Manila with the Rev. David Fair officiating. Burial will follow in Garden Point Cemetery at Etowah under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila.
Honorary pallbearers will include the 2011 Manila Lion Football Team.
