Ghost of Highway 61 National Antique Bus Tour coming here

The Ghost of Highway 61 National Antique Bus Tour will be making its way to Blytheville April 4-6 for a weekend-long set of events.

The tour, which is being organized by Main Street Blytheville and Tom McNally's National Antique Bus Show, will host a number of events for bus owners as well as events geared toward the public, such as a bus ride to Graceland in Memphis, a pancake breakfast, a parade down Main Street and outdoor music and other activities.

The tour's schedule is as follows:

April 4:

-- 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Coach arrivals, outdoor music, coach photos opportunities, flea-market, antique coaches on display and bus depot museum and bus memorabilia displays open.

-- 6-8 p.m. Meet and greet for event participants (sponsored by Main Street Blytheville) at the Greyhound bus depot. Light snacks provided.

April 5:

-- 8 a.m. Depart for group tour to Memphis aboard a restored Greyhound Scenicruiser.

-- 9 a.m. Elvis Presley's Graceland for Platinum Tour.

-- 12:30 p.m. Groups tour lunch by Germantown Commissary.

-- 2-10 p.m. Return to Blytheville. Outdoor music, coach photos opportunities, flea-market, antique coaches on display and bus depot museum and bus memorabilia displays open.

April 6:

-- 8-9:30 a.m. Pancake breakfast at the Greyhound bus depot provided by local non-profit. Tour participants only.

-- 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Outdoor music, coach photos opportunities, flea-market, antique coaches on display and bus depot museum and bus memorabilia displays open.

-- 10 a.m. Peter Zittre recycled veggie-fuel seminar.

-- 3 p.m. Antique coach parade through downtown Blytheville.

-- 5-7 p.m. Catered dinner provided by Dixie Pig BBQ. Tour participants only.
